How to take delayed screenshots with Snagit

Snagit’s delayed screenshot feature allows you to capture your screen exactly when needed. Follow these three simple steps to take a delayed screenshot:

Step 1: Open Snagit and select your capture settings
Begin by launching Snagit and selecting the image capture mode. In the capture settings, choose the time delay option and set the number of seconds before the screenshot is taken.

Step 2: Prepare your screen
After selecting your delay, click the capture button. You’ll have time to set up your screen, whether you’re capturing a dropdown menu, hovering over a specific area, or waiting for an auto-advancing slide to appear.

Step 3: Capture and save
Once the delay ends, Snagit will automatically capture the screen as per your settings. Afterward, you can edit, annotate, or share the screenshot as needed.
