Learn how to quickly share accessible videos that engage students and set the privacy settings to control who can view your media.
Get a Link to Share with Others
On the Library tab, click the Share button on the media.
The Share Media dialog appears. On the Link tab, click the Copy button to copy the URL to your clipboard. For others to view this media, the privacy setting needs to be set to Only people with the link.
Paste the link into a location to share with others such as in an email or course syllabus. When a user clicks the link, it opens in a web browser window. Viewers can see the media, title, and description. See Add Media Details.
Get the Embed Code
Copy the embed code to share your media on a website or Learning Management System (LMS).
On the Library tab, click the Share button on the media.
The Share Media dialog appears. On the Embed tab, adjust target dimensions for the video size into the Width and Height fields (if necessary).
Click the Copy button to copy the embed code to your clipboard.
Paste the embed code into the HTML source code for your website or LMS.
(Optional) Protect Your Media with an Access Phrase
To restrict who can view your shared media, you can protect the media with an Access Phrase.
On the Library tab, click the Share button on the media.
The Share Media dialog appears. Click the Access Phrase Protected toggle to enable access phrase protection. A random access phrase is automatically generated for your media.
(Optional) Click Generate Access Phrase to cycle through auto-generated access phrases, or enter your own custom access phrase by typing your desired phrase in the text box.
Copy your access phrase and share it with intended viewers.
