On the Video tab in the Capture window, open Record Microphone options and select Remove background noise.

Save clips from a video as separate videos.
Drag the green and red handles on the playback timeline to make a selection, then click Save As New Video.
The new clip opens in the Snagit Editor, and the original video remains uncut in the recent captures tray.

Need to remove all audio, perhaps to reuse video in another project or to update the voice narration?
In Snagit Editor, select Video menu > Make a Silent Copy to duplicate the video without any microphone, system audio, or background noise.

Pin a capture in the recent captures tray with a single click, pin multiple captures to keep project assets together, and drag to reorder the pinned captures in the tray. Unpin captures when you’re done.
