Organize Media

Complete any of the following to organize your media:

• Add a Folder to Your Library
• Add a Subfolder to Your Library
• Add Media to a Folder or Collection
• Add a Collection
• Sort Media
• Copy Media
• Replace Media
• Delete Media

Add a Folder to Your Library

1. Click the Library tab.
2. Click the + icon next to My Library.
   
3. Enter a folder name and click Create.

Add a Subfolder to Your Library

1. Click the Library tab.
2. In My Library, click the icon next to the desired folder and select Create Subfolder.
   
3. Enter a folder name and click Create.

Add Media to a Folder or Collection

To add one or more pieces of media to a folder or Collection:

1. Click the Library tab.
2. Click the checkboxes to select the desired media.
   
3. Complete one of the following:
   • Drag the selection to a folder or Collection.
   • Drag the selection to the + icon to create a new folder or Collection with the selected media.
   • Click the Move button in the upper-right corner and select the location from the dropdown. Click Move.
     

The selected media is moved to the folder or Collection. To learn more about Collections, see Organize and Share Media with Collections.

Add a Collection

Add a Collection to organize a set of media to share with a class or group. With the shared link, viewers have the option to follow a Collection in their Feed. The Feed shows the latest media from any Collections you follow.

1. Click the Library tab.
2. Click the + icon next to My Collections.
   
3. The Create Collection dialog appears. Enter a name for the Collection.
4. Select the privacy settings and click Create.
   Knowmia creates the new collection.

Sort Media

To sort the content in the Library or within a folder, click the Sort dropdown and select a sort option.

Copy Media

1. Click the Library tab.
2. Click the icon on the media and select Copy.
   
3. The Copy Media dialog appears. Select a location from the dropdown and click Copy.

Replace Media

Upload a new file when you have an update or fix to make to the existing media.  

1. On the Library tab, click to open the media.
2. Select More > Replace Media.

Delete Media

1. Click the Library tab.
2. Click the icon on the media and select Delete.
